About Rowanne Brewer Lane:
Born Rowanne Elaine Brewer July 7, 1964 in Washington DC. The youngest of four children to Doris (mother) who was a banker, and Johnny Brewer (father) detective for Metropolitan Police Department 25 years. Rowanne attended in Herndon high school in Herndon Virginia, was member of the Drill Team and nominated best looking senior female of graduating class of 82.
She became the software librarian of a huge up-and-coming computer firm PC3 in Reston Virginia before moving onto bar-tending at popular upscale restaurant chain Clydes. She won “The Best body on the Beach” contest (10,000 plus viewer competition) in 1986. A judge from that contest strongly encouraged her to enter the Miss Maryland USA pageant. She won it and then further went on to Miss USA where she became a top 10 finalist and Miss photogenic USA 1988. One of the judges from the Miss USA pageant was from the then popular TV show Star Search, which she participated in and won with four stars.
From Star Search, she met one of the judges on the program who was a photographer from Miami, Florida. He was doing a photo layout in a magazine for body glove and invited her down to shoot. After the shoot was successful he suggested that she go to one of the three agencies in Miami and start modeling. She took his advice and was immediately signed with L’Agence Miami, then Irene Marie Talent Agency. As Miami was the hub in that decade for modeling, she worked on a daily basis. She became the “Snap on Tool girl” and traveled the United States for a few years, while working print, clothing catalog work and lingerie internationally. She was a regular featured swimwear model for Venus swimwear and did dozens of commercials in Miami ranging from Diet Pepsi & Miller light, to Bugle Boy jeans. She was featured in five commercials for Taco Bell as a “run for the border girl”. She was chosen in 1990 and 1991 as a swimsuit model for Inside Sport magazine, and Sport magazine swimsuit edition. (And dazzling women of sport video).
In 1991 she met and dated billionaire developer Donald Trump for three months and spent wonderful and exciting times in Palm Beach and New York with him. But her career was pulling her to Los Angeles often where she was working on TV and films. Once in Los Angeles, she lost touch with Donald.
This is Rowanne Brewer Lane’s personal statement on Donald Trump: “I spent enough time with Donald Trump when we dated, to know how respectfully he treats people, especially women. He was very gracious to every man and woman I ever saw him come in contact with. For such a bold and successful businessman he has shown that he can be extremely compassionate and understanding, and I truly believe “passion” is where his desire to become president and make America great again comes from. Donald stands up for what he believes in. If you intentionally start a fight with him, you’re going to get one, and (to coin a phrase) he can put his money where his mouth is! He is obviously holding his own in this Presidential race and I say more power to him. ” The above statement written By Rowanne Brewer Lane
She then dated, and became engaged to luxury real estate developer Mohamed Hadid. They were together for 3 1/2 years, though they did not marry. He and his ex-wife are now on the famous housewives of Beverly Hills reality show, and his daughter GG has become a supermodel. During her years with Mohamed, she had several TV and film appearances including a guest starring role in sitcoms “Murphy Brown” and “Daddy Dearest” (Don Rickles and Richard Lewis) as well as starring in the cult comedy classic “Round-Trip to Heaven”, with Corey Feldman and Zach Galligan.
She met singer songwriter of the 80’s mega hairband Jani Lane at the earthquake relief benefit of 94, through none other then actor Gary Busey. They were joined at the hip from that moment on and then married in 1996. Her career was mostly put on hold and she traveled around the world with him on tour. They proceeded to have a beautiful daughter, Madison Michelle Lane, in November 1997. They were together 13 years but divorced in 2006. Jani had an unfortunate an untimely passing in 2011. Madison (Maddi) is preparing to attend University of North Carolina, UNC Chapel Hill as a freshman in the fall of 2016. A lot has happened in all of these years. Rowanne will be taking the opportunity to put her thoughts and experiences into a book which she is beginning to write now. God has been a prominent presence throughout her lifetime and will continue to be.
