Al Sotto
Al Sotto has worked in the entertainment industry as an actor, behind the scenes and radio/tv hosting. Born in Phildelphia, PA and raised in Baltimore, MD, Al became interested in acting after participating in elementary and high school plays. At his alma mater UMBC, Al studied acting and theater and worked on student films. His first studio film project was in John Water's Serial Mom. Since then Al's feature film credits include Boys, The Replacements, Head of State, Ladder 49, Step Up, Step Up 2, He's Just Not That Into You, In The Loop and the upcoming film Everything You've Got. Al's television credits include Young Americans, HBO's The Wire, FOX TV pilot Past Life and most recently in an episode of MTV's The Hills. Al also worked behind the scenes as an assistant producer in the independent film Everything's Wonderful. His other independent film work includes Metropolis Pictures' Johnny Come Lately and MCM Films The Milkman. In addition, Al has also worked as a casting assistant on the WB network's Elimidate. For almost ten years Al has produced and hosted his own radio/internet show Below The Belt Show on www.belowthebeltshow.com Al is a member of Screen Actors Guild and divides his time between Baltimore, MD and Los Angeles, CA.
